1859    The Henry Jones business is established
1889    Sir Henry Jones adopts the brand name IXL® (a play on ‘I excel’)
1891    The company “H. Jones & Company” is established
1970    The final production of IXL® jams at the iconic ‘Jam Factory’ in Prahran and manufacturing moves to Port Melbourne
1974    Henry Jones IXL merges with Elders to form Elders IXL
1984    Elders IXL is sold to Goodman Fielder
1989    Henry Jones IXL is sold to The JM Smucker Co.
1997    IXL® diet collection launches, with 50% less sugar
1998    IXL® Fruit bars are launched
2004    SPC Ardmona buys Henry Jones IXL , returning the iconic brand to Australian hands. In the same year, our IXL® tumbler collection launches.
2007    IXL® special blend jams launch
2008    IXL® All About the Fruit range is launched
2010    IXL® 50% Less Sugar range moved to smaller (210g) jar
2011    IXL® All About the Fruit range moved to smaller jar and 'IXL at jam'TM campaign launched
